Mountain Lutheran Church was founded in Groveland, CA in September 1990. Worship services in the homes of two of our founding members. Mt. Carmel Catholic Church very graciously let us use their church as our place of worship so we could worship in a real church - a beautiful historic church in Big Oak Flat. We began worshiping there in May, 1991, with an average attendance of 30 people each Sunday. The dream and work of finally moving into our own church building were fulfilled in July, 2006 - thanks to great support from the community and many other Lutheran Churches throughout California. We continue to worship at this facility at 13000 Down to Earth Court today.
